## Purpose

The Gravity Publication Verification Standard defines how GravityBTC publications should present verification information for public review.

Its purpose is to support independent review of published Gravity artifacts by requiring clear publication identity, canonical references, and verification information.

## Scope

This standard applies to public Gravity publications, including:

- articles
- standards
- public documentation
- research publications
- publication records

Internal operational documents are outside the scope of this standard.

## Publication Identity

A public Gravity publication should include:

- publication title
- canonical URL
- meta description
- issuer or maintainer
- public index entry
- publication status

## Verification Requirements

A public Gravity publication should include verification information sufficient to support review.

Where applicable, this may include:

- SHA256 hash
- source hash
- template hash
- rendered body hash
- verification record reference
- publication status
- applicable Gravity standard
- publication authority statement

## Required Page Features

Each publication page should include:

- canonical URL
- meta description
- Gravity institutional header
- Gravity institutional footer
- publication verification section
- public index reference

A table of contents, chapter anchors, Article schema, Organization schema, and related references should be included when applicable to the publication type.

## Relationship to GPIS-1

GPIS-1 defines publication integrity requirements for issued, indexed, hashed, referenced, and preserved publications.

GPVS-1 defines the public verification information that should be visible or referenceable on Gravity publication pages.

## Conformance

A publication conforms to GPVS-1 when the required publication identity, public verification information, and required page features defined by this standard are present and reviewable.
