Settlement Recognition Standard
GravityBTC recognizes Bitcoin settlement through defined confirmation thresholds before service activation or record issuance.
Settlement recognition is not discretionary. Gravity waits for the required Bitcoin confirmation threshold before activating services, generating issued records, or making preservation outputs available through retrieval.
Invoice-Bound Settlement
Each Gravity service is associated with an invoice identifier. Settlement recognition is tied to that invoice and its observed Bitcoin payment state.
Confirmation Thresholds
Required confirmations are treated as operational conditions for activation. Gravity does not treat broadcast transactions, mempool visibility, or partial observation as final settlement.
Activation Discipline
Service activation occurs only after the required settlement condition is satisfied. Gravity does not accelerate activation because of urgency, preference, or client pressure.
Continuity of Recognition
Once settlement is recognized and the service is activated, the invoice remains the reference point for issued records and retrieval continuity.
Scope Limits
Settlement recognition confirms Gravity’s operational threshold for service execution. It does not represent custody, legal advice, investment advice, or a guarantee of third-party treatment.
