Preservation Standard
GravityBTC preservation exists to maintain continuity, reference stability, and operational traceability for issued records.
Preservation is not passive storage. It is a disciplined operating posture designed to keep issued records recognizable, retrievable, and connected to the service event that produced them.
Issued Record Continuity
Once a Gravity record is issued, the preservation priority is continuity of reference, stable retrieval behavior, and long-term operational traceability.
Record Association
Preserved records remain associated with the originating service, invoice identifier, settlement recognition state, and issuance context.
Operational Traceability
Gravity preservation emphasizes repeatable verification of what was issued, when it was issued, and which service process produced the record.
Controlled Change
Gravity may improve its systems over time, but preservation behavior should remain compatible with previously issued records and continuity expectations.
Client-Facing Permanence
Preservation supports the client’s ability to return to an issued record and recognize its operational context without relying on informal explanation or discretionary interpretation.
Scope Limits
Preservation does not mean custody of client assets, legal representation, investment management, or indefinite guarantee against every external condition. It means Gravity maintains its issued record continuity according to its operational standards.
